Refund policy

In short: you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Returns go to our address in Austria, and you pay for the return shipping. Damaged, faulty or wrong items are replaced or refunded free of charge.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods. If you order several items that are delivered separately, the period starts when you receive the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Novaluna, Kirchensteig 14, 2253 Weikendorf, Austria, email: hello@novalunajournal.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Novaluna, Kirchensteig 14, 2253 Weikendorf, Austria without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Trying them on is of course fine – please return the leggings unworn, unwashed and, if possible, in their original packaging.

Orders from outside the EU

We voluntarily apply the same 14-day rule to orders from countries outside the EU. Please note that international returns can cost more, and that customs formalities may apply when sending items back into the EU, depending on your country; these costs are yours.

Damaged, faulty or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incomplete, or you received the wrong item (for example the wrong colour or size), please email us at hello@novalunajournal.com as soon as possible after it arrives. Include your order number and a photo of the item. We will send you a free replacement or refund the purchase price – in this case you usually don't need to send anything back.

Your statutory warranty rights are not affected by this policy.

How long does a refund take?

As soon as your return has arrived, or you have sent us proof that you posted it, we refund the amount to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it can take a few days for the credit to appear.
